"Came to this famous place and was really impressed by the food and prices. Everything was hot, and nicely seasoned. The hummus was very smooth. However just need to leave this note about my experience. I ordered a side of potatoes and they offered sauce on top, but I wanted to apply my own sauce so I asked for it on the side, and they surprised me with an extra £2 charge which is the same price as the potatoes themselves. The person before me asked for a lot of extra sauce on their samosas and I don’t think they had to pay extra. I wish they had told me that it would cost extra for chilli and garlic. Sauce pots are also not on the menu."

"Best Shawarma I’ve had in London BY FAR. £5 with added potatoes or aubergine The wrap bread has an almost cardamom hint to them. Hummus is thick and creamy beyond belief. The chicken is a lil on the oil side but SOOOOO flavourful and juicy. Chilli sauce is stunning. Make sure to get a mango juice too!!! Best mango juice ever!!!"

"Back in August a work colleague said one lunchtime "boys let me take you to a place for some good lunch for the price of a meal deal". So we went to Falafel & Shawarma! It is a nice spacious simple looking shop, queue up on the right to order, then move over to the left to pay for and pickup up your order. There is long sitting wall benches on either side of the shop where you can sit in and eat, but when the shop is busy you will be sitting along side both queues. The staff were very friendly and professional. The gentleman who takes your order is always lively and having a laugh with customers as hes taking the orders and preparing the orders. They're always giving out samples of their side food items especially their roasted spice potatoes which are really nice. We each ordered their chicken shawarma wrap and their own made lemonade drink. The chicken filling tasted really good had that nice spiced marinated tase and the meat came out soft. They top the filling with a choice of garlic and/or chilli sauce which isn't all that spicy in all honesty but does give that nice taste to it all. The lemonade nicely compliments the chicken shawarma. We went again yesterday and this time I ordered their falafel wrap and that was equally as good! Also this time I ordered a portion of their 4 lamb sambusaks, which is like Indian samosas but made without the Indian spices. I liked them (being a bengali person) as they had the natural cooked lamb taste and had a slight taste of some cooking spices. For £4.50 the shawarma wraps they serve up interms of taste and how big it is, I have seen other places charge around £9! The side items like the Sambusak was £2.50 and again worth the price! Highly recommended place to go for lunch, you wont be disappointed!!"

"If you’ve never been to Camberwell before, this place is the reason to go. This place hands down does the best shawarma in London, without breaking the bank. Have been here dozens of times and every time it’s fun to try something different. The wraps are about the size of my forearm and are packed with chicken, fresh crunchy salad, the smoothest hummus you’ll ever have, and if they ask you “chilli and garlic sauce?” Just say yes. Any combination wrap will spark joy - falafel and chicken, chicken and aubergine (but careful eating this as it’s a bit saucier) and chicken and spicy potato. One wrap is enough for each person but I could put down two easily on some days. If you want something a bit different or are hungrier, get a mixed mezze box with chicken. There is so much variety in textures and tastes, it’s actually so much fun to eat. Their aubergine is like vegetable crack. Service is friendly and efficient, even when the line gets super long. Make sure to order on the right side, and then pick up on the left side! Most people takeaway but there are some benches (but no tables) where you can eat inside. Lots of delivery drivers eat here too - so you know it’s that good. Please never change, so I can continue consuming an ungodly amount of shawarma."
